Most of Adams County treats Riverdale Regional Park as a destination. You treat it as the greenbelt behind the house. That difference matters more than usual between late July and early September, when the same 9755 Henderson Road address becomes a five-day carnival, a country concert venue, a Sunday festival ground, and, in between all of it, the quietest 36-hole municipal golf course in the north metro.
The thesis for the next six weeks is simple: if you live in The Villages at Riverdale, you are not visiting the fair. The fair is visiting you. Plan the week like a host, not a tourist, and the same grounds will pay you back for the rest of the summer.
